| crucial elements of the design

I pay lots of attention to the silhouette of a character that is visible after coloring its entirety. I make sure that its outlined silhouette is characteristic and recognizable, unique in its own way.

| the process

The method of work that I use in the initial stages of design is 1) a colour spot.

When I manage to achieve an interesting, expected shape, I slowly 2) outline the figure’s silhouette and its elements. Before colour and shading appear, 3) I match one solid colour

to the resulting drawing.
